Day 50: Pathetic Worms With Needles in Barcelona

In Barcelona, we are staying with a law student friend who is living with all these other law students. It feels just like studying overseas in college, but everyone is now older and professional and does legal things.

Today, after returning from the beach, we went to a falafel stand where a gypsy put a newspaper on Lara´s wallet and tried to take it away sneakily. But Lara - brilliantly - figured it out and took it back. Then she and the gypsy woman looked at eachother menacingly.

Then, we walked across the street to a pharmacy, because the friend who is going to be a lawyer in only 10 months (so soon!) has a cold. She talked to the pharmacist about the cold to get some phlegm advice. But then the pharmacist said she was sorry but she had to leave. So the other pharmacist took over.

¨She just got stabbed with a needle,¨ the other pharmacist said, as the first pharmacist walked out the door.

She kept going: ¨We were just robbed. Now she has to go to the hospital and then to the police station. But I can talk to you about your phlegm instead.¨

Are the pathetic worms stabbing people with needles these days? We´re not even sure what that means.

but wouldn't have giving your wallet forwarded the "HATE TO HELP" movement...really, lara, you shouldn't be so selfish...
