Day 673: Welcome Emily Baker!
In exciting news, Hope Runs has recently hired Emily Baker to be our first Director of Development! Emily is awesome, and is based in Seattle - and will be making her first trip to Kenya and Tanzania (not her first to these parts, but her first with Claire and Lara) this June! In her few short weeks, she has already adjusted to our hectic, urgent, over-excited, all-hours work style. Of late, she also astutely commented to Lara that Claire "writes more emails than God."
We love her energy, and are just thrilled she's on board. And, to make this a good blog story, we originally found Emily months ago through this blog!
