Day 120: Graphic-Less Blog

Pictures. We can't put any up. Because the internet is sucky. And we're not sure if we'll be able to before we begin our two week trek to Everest Base Camp. We leave on Tuesday and are kind of sick with excitement about the whole thing, and like to look at each other and say: "Lara/Claire (it depends on who is talking) I am SO excited." This is perhaps one of the top three things that we are most looking forward to on this trip.* But here are some French people we know. We have no idea what they're doing, but at least it's a graphic.

*The top three just might be:
Trek to Everest Base Camp; Take the Transiberian Express from Beijing-Moscow; Climb Kilimanjaro.

Hey, your RSS feed got messed up; it's only showing the first paragraph or so of posts. Fix it!!!!!!!!!!

okay, ironic detachment is oh so cute, but can you please specify that the "french" person second from the left is in fact american?
thank you.

oh, and enjoy your trek. remember that book? with the sherpas and the big disaster (and someone named sandy?)?

we did nothing to the rss feed and barely know what that is anyway. so maybe it's a problem with blogspot, which like to occasionally erase all our sidebars.

is this something you can fix, or do i have to get involved and think about this, because frankly it sounds minorly overwhelming.

we're eating MEXICAN FOOD (read: cheese enchiladas) in kathmandu tonight?

Princess of Pepper: You do not get to hide behind the term American if you are actually, legitimately (sp??) bilingual and have lived in Paris for over 3 years.

P.S: The eagle is landing first week of October. Lance, Barb in tow.

I just ran across your blog while cruising around. I don't disbelieve that you ARE going up Everest BUT your group sure does not look dressed for it in this photo! I thought it was cold up there on the roof of the world?

Mountaineering flip-flop sandals; hmm.........

Good luck,
James in England

im confused by this comment. what group? its me and lara only. and we trekked to everest base camp, not the summit. and maybe the flip flops were in another country, where it is warm and there are no big mountains! hmmmm....confused.....claire

James said...

Sorry about the confusion. It's what comes of me just reading one 1 blog entry and jumping to conclusions. I was referring to the photo of you two girls and the two guys on the balcony, where you are wearing flip-flops.

You have a great blog, it is great reading for us wage slaves (living??) our ant-like existences. Keep it up and stay safe!
