The reception man spent hours each day working hard at watching TV and drinking mint tea and coffee. What is confusing about this scenario is that whenever we walked past him over those many many hours of working diligently (hi mom!) he would be watching a nature show.
And not just any nature show. Inevitably, the screen always seemed to be showing a close up of a cat drinking milk in slow motion. It took about 5 seconds per lick. And it went on for hours.
The only thing that makes this story even stranger is that we saw a similar clip last night. Not while surfing TV in our current uninteresting business hotel in
The thought of Americans watching clips of gazelles running through the serengeti (I think this is not a natural impossibility) on their Southwest flight while munching "health conscious" slow-roasted peanuts is exactly what makes this story entertaining if you hadn't thought so already.

I cannot believe you are writing about Moroccan mint tea. Because I spent today wondering about Moroccan mint tea and wondering why the terrible things you get in packets in the supermarket labelled "Moroccan mint tea" don't taste anything like mint tea in the Middle East, which as I encountered it was very sweet black tea (like English Breakfast or something, with sprigs of fresh mint dumped into it. Served from your friendly roadside tea peddler who walks around with his large kettle thing strapped to his back (with padding to keep it hot) and a bunch of mint tucked into his belt.
Enlighten me!
"ostrich." sure...
it looks like someone has finally entered that unfortunate but inevitable "growing out" stage...
