We are headed for the (hopefully) hot and (please dear God) lovely beaches of
We started spreading the word around Tumaini a few days ago since the kids still get all anxious like when we leave anywhere, but as Claire, and 3 other volunteers only decided to come as of this afternoon, chaos has undoubtedly taken over.
But we leave in three hours, I have to pack and create a multimedia presentation…
We are nothing if not well-organized.
But until further notice, the computers are staying behind!!! This is a serious first. I have not been without my baby here for more than a few hours in a year…it’s bittersweet, but oh so nice to know I will only be able to do pen and paper and reading…we need it. Both of us have been nursing low grade illness since things revved up for the marathon.
Sweet sweet vacation………
