Day 634: Claire to Oxford

Claire's foray into the world of getting an MBA to help dear old Hope Runs has come to a lovely conclusion.

Claire found out she is a happy Skoll Scholar at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford's Said Business School. The Skoll Foundation has truly done some amazing things for our world, and they set up a center at Oxford to encourage more business types to get involved. The scholarship allows social entrepreneurs the chance to get an MBA without paying for tuition or living expenses, all the while studying social entrepreneurship and networking with some fantastic other fellows in the business of world-saving.

It turns out urphin-work ain't the swanky money-maker you might think it to be, thus Hope Runs is proud to support Claire in her general life goal to get free things.

And, just in case you questioned if Claire is a real social entrepreneur, here is a picture of her doing obvious important aid work in Africa. Claire has handily wrapped Edwin, 8, in the sheet, and is busy explaining to Ephantus, 10, that when Edwin falls on the ground after she spins Edwin dizzy inside the sheet, he must try to catch him.
